"Sunburned" 14x11

"This is a painting of our daughter.  We had gone to the zoo the day before. The next day, Easter Sunday, we came home from church in our Easter dresses and Jenny went straight outside to catch butterflies in my zinnia garden. Her face was so sunburned from our day at the zoo that I told her if she wanted to be outside, she needed to keep her Easter bonnet on. I snapped the picture as she was gazing up at me and used that photo for this portrait. This one is special to us."
