"This piece of Quarantine Art I painted during the Shelter in Place order of 2020 due to Coronavirus. When our kids were little we would take them to what was then the SuperMall to shop and ride the Carousel there. One could ride a beautiful horse or a deer, a bunny, a zebra, a peacock - even a dragon. We would ride our favorite animal - this fabulous rooster always my choice and I focused on him for this painting. If you look closely you can see the dragon’s nostrils and tongue reflected in one of the mirrors."
